How many kWh electricity per year does your household use?

You can calculate your electricity consumption by looking at your invoices. Base your answer on 1-year of bills to allow for winter and summer variations. If you don't have your invoices your electricity provider will be able to give this to you.

How much electricity is bought from a green tariff (% or kWh)?

Some people buy between 25 and100% of electricity on a green tariff

How many kWh of mains gas per year does your household use?

You can calculate your gas consumption by looking at your invoices. Base your answer on 1-year of bills to allow for winter and summer variations. If you don't have invoices your gas provider will be able to give this to you.

How many kilograms of bottled gas does your household use per year?

This would include Calor Gas heater, patio heaters, gas barbeques, and bottled gas for cookers and water heaters.

How many litres of oil does your household use in a year?

This should be on your fuel delivery notices.

How much water does your household use in a year?

If you are not on a water meter try doing a survey for 1 day. Make a note of how many times the toilet is flushed, how many baths and showers are taken, how often the washing machine and dishwasher are used, how many bowls of water you use in the kitchen, and how often you dink water (including tea and coffee). Don't forget to include any hosepipe or sprinkler you use. Send this information along with the form and we will calculate your water usage.
